The State Flag of Connecticut (Constitution State)
Also known as, the "Land of Steady Habits" - I'm not sure why, perhaps they had a lot of nuns who walked without bouncing... Ouch! Sorry, I promise to be good...uh...better.
The flag of Connecticut consists of a white shield with three grapevines (each bearing three bunches of purple grapes) on a field of azure blue. The banner below the shield reads "Qui Transtulit Sustinet," ("He who transplanted sustains us") the state's motto.
Our version of this flag is made of light-weight polyester for durability and is 3' by 5'. |
